WTF????????
why would you waste $100 on a shifter for your auto tranny????????? and its on sale from $170!!!! put that $100 towards better things like maybe a shift kit. a shifter wont make the tranny shifter faster and harder. its not even taht great looking but if you really want it, go for it. -------------------- 1994 Celica GT4 WRC Edition

Ya, I wouldnt spend that money on a shift knob for an auto, considering you only ever touch it when you start and park the car. Looks ok, I guess..... but it looks like it's trying to be a manual knob. If it's just for show go nuts.

I guess if you want to begin to make the interior look like something off star trek then it's cool.

its cool man... dont think I would get it if I had an auto but its not bad.
something you could try.. believe the autos had an over ride button on them, find a way to keep that depressed all the time.. then get a shift knob for a manual and a boot and it would open up alot more options.. not sure if it would work you might still have to push the button on the shifter and if that is the case then my idea wont work.. -------------------- 99 project version 3.0.. hello SEMA 2010 =) |

I spose if you don't drive your Celica like Sports car you only use it from Park to Drive to Reverse and back and forth. SOME people, like myself, drive the automatic Celica's as if they were manuals, and shift from low to second to drive w/o OD...to OD when you hit about 105/110. Automatics can be fun, and why not get a sweet shift knob. I see people spending goards of money on Veilside shift knobs...why not get a kick ass one for your auto...sweet man...if you got the extra change go for it!!! -------------------- 95 Toyota Celica GT

Just get a MOMO auto shift knob for $100ish and be happy. You can re-wire the OD.

Hehe that's how I shift, too. I can't stand the slow acceleration of DRIVE. Even though my car is turbo, it stills accelerates slow because of the damn DRIVE gear, but after 2500 RPM, it pulls very hard...feels like you just pushed the nitrous oxide button -------------------- |
