Progressive Insurance, What a joke :) Options

Well, I posted b4 about my car being plowed into by an uninsured handicaped old fart back on Sept. 24, and well, the car has yet to even begun to have repairs made b/c of my insurance company.

Well, that's not too much of a problem b/c they gave me a rental.

Then there was this little incident wed. were I was stoped at a traffic light and got rear ended.

So now I sit here in a neck brace w/pain from 2 car accidents within 3 and a half weeks... neither of which were my fault... w/out my car and no rental.

Well, I get a letter from Progressive today from the wreck on wed. and they're threatening me telling me I'm assuming liability if I don't call them and that they'll make arrangments for my payments.

Now, tell me... is this some sort of joke? I'm stoped at a red light, get plowed into, get taken to the ER, and this guy's insurance company is telling me that if I don't call them back I'm assuming responsibility?

I've talked to my insurance company already, so I'm not worried, but this is just halarious.

On a good note though, I found out my Celica isn't going to be totaled And once approval comes in, the car will be done w/in a week b/c they have the parts in stock

yea dude other people's insurance company try to get you worried and freaked out so you make dumb mistakes


once in the celica my gf was driving and i was riding shotgun and we were parked and i had the door propped open and both feet were out and this dumb bitch pulled up to park in a driveway next to this gas station and i was almost all the way out and she kept going and her side mirror slammed into the door where the seam is...right below the door handle if you were to go across.

so i was like wtf why didnt you stop? her retarted boyfriend got out and was like dude why didnt look first? blah blah..started getting in my face...she pushed him back and he fell down...then she is like well do you have full coverage i said yea...she is like well then just tell em that you were at the store and there was a shopping cart that hit it or something when you were inside...

so i said **** that..the dent wasnt from the outside...the way the dent was the door had to have been open...

i called the cops and did a statement and ****...the cops didnt even write much down that i was telling em.

so i called my insurance later that day and reported it...went and got an estimate it was like $800 bucks. so then i waited for like 5 days and didnt hear anything...i called her insurance agency and they said that she hadnt reported anything...so then they called her and she said that it was my fault blah blah

so finally another agent from my insurance called and threatened to sue if responsiblity wasnt taken by her..

two days later i got a check for 1200 bucks.
