I got hit in the driver's door tonight about 7 o'clock.
Pretty crazy, I looked up and there was a 2000's model Blazer coming right at my face, I swerved right but it had already made contact so I jerked left to try to get a spin going, so the impact wouldn't be so hard, which worked out in my advantage, seeing as how I'm perfectly fine.
Thank God for the quick handling of a 6th Gen.
Shelli the Celi is pretty much totaled though...
here's the pics
sorry if the pics suck they were taken with my phone

Dang sorry for the loss. That sucks. I remember when I got into an accident but it was with a fbi. Will you be getting any money back?

Total BS that all they had was like, a broken head light and a bent bumper.

I sorry =(

Dude, that looks horrible. I'm so sorry for your loss.

I remember when I crashed my car (kids: don't e-brake drift in the snow), granted it was my fault, because I'm a complete idiot, but it was rough. Luckily for me, it was just a matter of replacing a rim and a wheel bearing. I couldn't imagine all that body damage.

LOL, at the shocker sticker. Nice!

ON TOPIC! I wouldn't want to try to repair the big dent since it's a unibody, but the front clip could be salvageable. Good luck on what you're going to do next down the road.

Bummer, sorry to see this. You're ok which is the number one thing though.

What was the outcome, how did the accident happen, who was at fault?

it seems that i was at fault, i don't think so though, i go thru that stoplight 8 times a day and i've never ran it before, i don't really remember what exactly happened, but i know i wouldn't have been driving through the intersection if the light was red. oh well though. i think maybe she had a green circle and should have been yielding to me and i had a green light too? i dunno?

i had liability only insurance, so i'm probably not getting anything unless somehow they decide its her fault.
i'm going to get the car from wherever they towed it now and after the insurance adjuster sees it its part out time.
then either to the junkyard or scrap metal place whichever will give me more money.
i probably won't get another celica, i'm looking at an 86 cressida, a 00 subaru outback, an 82 rx7, and an 86 1/2 supra.
i want a car that will appreciate in value, unlike this car.

Sorry to hear about your loss - sucks to see a Celica from NC going out like that. Glad you're ok though.

Good luck with the part out - I may come calling if I need something.
