QUOTE (5sfeTurbo @ Oct 19, 2003 - 11:42 PM)
I can understand, when a new quy comes in and is excited about the web-site becuae he thinks" whoa, I can learn all I can from site." I wouldnt expect someone to learn how to find what their looking for if they have an urgent question in their head and rush to a post it. But then like someone said I do see the same post over and over again, but we cant give the sh** for it, we want more people, we want more fans of the site. How would you feel if the first topic you put up was flammed to the ground? Not very cool. Just try to be more sensitive that they come here for answers that will probally end up impacting them purchasing a major part.

I guess I can't relate to what you're saying because whenever I go to a new forum... I do lots of searching whenever I curious about something... If I don't find an answer after (about) an hour or two (and in some cases more) of searching, then I ask... it's not that hard to search...

I was on a forum for 3D modeling the other day and searched for hours to find an answer to my question... oddly enough, my query wasn't very common... but someone with the same question posted the following day... so I decided to join in on the discussion...

Well, I guess not everyone uses their common sense... so I'll ease up on the noobs and try not to have too much fun...

The guy is recently new to the site so he doesn't know all the features on this forum, just drop it. Every body makes mistakes and ask stupid questions once in a while. All of us were n00bs to this site at one time

I'm still a n00b tongue.gif

Ray, I rather like the gif and the idea of the blinking stickys, well, Idunno, blinking stickys could become annoying, but its still a good idea.

But I fear that no matter what happens people will still post noob questions.

oh well, we are so rich with information, all we can do is share it, anyway we can I suppose, even if it bothers us.
