im going to post my results when i get them emailed to me.

fastest times on the day ranged around 1.07 to 1.08, these were achieved by a talon TSI, 2 WRXs, and a 2.5RS (who is national champ in his SCCA division), next was in the 1.10 range which was a neon, whos driver had been autoXing a LONG time, a civic with the same story and i think one other person ran in that range. I ran a 1.13.2 after a 2 second penalty after clipping a cone in the slalom. the course was really big as far as autoX courses are concerned.

its through my car club at my school, its for kettering university students. but they do have autocrosses all over the place that are SCCA sanctioned. ive seen them at the palace of auburn hills, the silverdome, the lot behind great lakes crossing, and at a college somewhere.

Nice. I need to get back into the SCCA. Maybe next spring when I get some bills paid off and can put the Tein SS suspension and Sustec swaybars on.

the tein are more for looks than handling. Go for Tanabe if you want performance.

I've done my research. I haven't heard anything bad about either from the SCCA crowd. And the Tein are 16 way adjustable while the Tanabe are 5 for about the same price(the respective brands available models for 6th gen Celicas).

haha yea it was duct taped on, the girl who owned the car had just purchased it and the bodykit and rear bumper was all duct taped on. she said it almost fell off on her a few times driving home. i dont know what she expected was going to happen when she autocrossed it lol

Sorry bro, I thought you were talking about springs. I agree, the tein damper, coilover systems are better.

Jon

Which is why I said Tein SS. If I were going for springs I would have kept the TRD I had in my hands last year(sold them to someone in NC).
No prob though. As long as we all have fun going to Solo II events(Solo II is more commonly called Autocross). Maybe a few of us can make Solo I or even GT events someday.
