Kay, well the front end of my car seems to wobble or vibrate a bit at high speeds, figure its the tires, but i haven't replaced those yet. Anyway, I had sears do a free inspection and this is what they came up with:
So, What i'll end up doing, is paying a shop to do the back brakes, as that's a pain in the ass, but do the front myself..however I want ceramic brake pads, because i don't like brake dust(???) going onto my rims, i know my rims suck, but I hate it. Would this be a good purchase? http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/TOYOTA-CELI...sQ5fAccessories Sears said they'd fix it all for $547, **** that. Anyway, i think they make **** up most of the time, back to my point, would that ebay link be a good purchase for my front end? (Once again, i'm going to have tuffy do my rear brakes) -------------------- I still own my celica, but i'm parting it out and junking it.. Or selling as a whole. Have a honda prelude now :(

i would personally go for brembo's just because it's a brand i can trust that will perform well (and costs about the same). and ceramic brakes still create brake dust, difference is it creates less dust than traditional brake pads.

well i dunno about that company but i know this brand gave me pretty awesome rotors for my car, there lightly crossed drilled but they feel alot better, they give you normal pads though, they're not the quickest to deliver but there pretty good quality stuff. But like I said they give you normal pads.
Take a Look But ill agree with you that I think sears is Blowing Smoke up your A$$ and trying to milk you, drums can be a pain but might as well take care of them while your at it |

From my personal experience, go with drilled rotors but not slotted or slotted/drilled. Slotted rotors will "eat' your brake pads in much faster rate.

Also, my rims get absolutely covered with brake dust. it pisses me off! -------------------- I still own my celica, but i'm parting it out and junking it.. Or selling as a whole. The link in RavenAegis45 post looks like something you should be looking for as far as rotors go. For pads I would look for brands like AXXIS/PBR or Hawk, don't know if they make ceramic though.
