KBB says it's only worth 3,065.

Also - are you selling your personal car as a dealership car, and in doing so trying to set the price not as a private party vehicle (which you state it is), but as a vehicle owned by the dealership and price set to suggested retail value?

A bit shady IMO (not to mention Suggested retail is still only 4800)

Could you clear this up for me?

Actually I am a dealer. We mark up our cars and let people talk us down to our real price. Welcome to the world of car dealers, if you price it high you have room to negotiate, giving the illusion of you are making less money. I really love the trolls we have on this site now.

Yes I am a troll...says the person who hasn't been here as long as I. Do me a favor and look up all of my posts and compare to your own and we'll see who's contributed to this site more.

If it is a personal car it doesn't belong on a dealership. If it is a consignment, or dealership-owned vehicle it would be different, however per your original post that is not the case.

I would tell you to piss up a rope if I came to your lot to look at YOUR PERSONAL CAR while under the impression from the ad online that it is a dealership-owned car, spent a good portion of my day at the lot negotiating a price, only to have you come out and personally sign over a title.

I'm not saying what you're trying to do is wrong in legal terms, but it is immoral and unethical.

You have lost your mind. I am a dealer I never registered the car since it is on my dealer tags the title has the dealership name not my own personal name. Dealers don't keep a car for 2+years and have all the records in there personal names. Have a great day

This is a celica enthusiasts buy/sell forum, 99% of the people here already own a Celica, and the ones who don't are obviously on this site because they know at least slightly more about this car than the average joe. With that said, no one here is stupid enough to spend that much for a '94 with 132k miles on it...nor do they want to play the dealer negotiating game when there are newer Celica's for cheaper on the SAME PAGE as yours. rolleyes.gif I assure you, you will NEVER sell that car here unless you change that price in the title....

I've seen cars similar to this for sale with less than 90K miles, year 98', clean interior, OEM sideskirts and perfect condition with no rust 18" rims go for less than $4000.
5.5K is a little too much for this 94'er but good Luck with the sale.
