have you done plugs, wires, cap, and rotor ok i found my problem....since i was running rich it was my spark plugs...they were all black and stuff...so i went out and bought new ones and also a new batt because my batt died too...and so after i cranked it a few times she started up.. and black smoke started to come out from my exhaust and motor... and now another problem is that it would idle really low and it sounds like its having a hard time staying on. SAFC problem? check your distrib primary and secondary coils. AND FRICK I DIDNT KNOW YOU WENT TO VEGAS! I WAS THERE FOR A WEEK WTF!!!! yah bro i live her now -------------------- |

idle is less than 1k once warm mayine is like 11=1200 on cold startup so as long as you havent messed with sacf settings for that rpm range it shouldnt affect idle. the Idle Air Control valve is bolted on to the bottom of the throttle body. there are a few post about how to clean them iirc do a search on it

well the settings on my safc have been touched on the low rpm and high rpm range the mechanic i took it too played around with it. maybe i should play around with it laters to see what i get. And ill try to find the IAC valve and clean it if its dirty.
