What kind of paint can you use for cloth? Preferably some kind of spray paint.

You use dye on cloth. Paint will just get all crusty.
What are you doing?

Not sure. What exactly are you looking to do? If you give a little more detail as to what you hope to accomplish I or some one else may be able to help you more.

Might be able to paint with dye but not sure how safe it would be for the car. You could also stitch what ever it is you want on to the cover.

yes i asked my mom and she said use iron on letters it really hard to dye letter on. you would have to take the seat apart do a poor type method thing to the part you want lettered and then put the cloth back on the seat.
