I was bored one night so I decided to take off my spoiler and see what it looks like. I like it a lot better now and I would like to keep it off. I need some way to plug the holes and fix the scratches that the spoiler left. Would it be easiest to get a new hatch?

I actually really like the spoiler look.
I'd say if you need some down force, get one of these: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Toyota-Celica-Rear-B...%3A1%7C294%3A50 |

Before I had the DCW spoiler molded into my car, I had used the plastic interior retainers and RTV to cover the holes. Worked great, was water tight, no issues noted.
Good luck finding a hatch that didn't have a spoiler on it. Those are few and far between. FWIW I was quoted at about $250-400 for welding, smoothing, and hatch repainting. NEver got around to it until I did a full paint though. -------------------- |

I dont know what I should do. I actually bought my car without a spoiler, then spent 150 to get it put on. Now Im going to be spending 200+ to get it taken off properly. I plan on selling my car this fall or spring so maybe I will just deal with the holes till then, then put the spoiler back on when I sell it.
