a guy on corolla-racing.com is selling his 7afte... details below:

94 Corolla DX. 7AFE 2.0 Bored over, Arias Pistons (8.5:1) Crower Rods, Custom HKS intake/exhaust cams. Custom crank. Also new wrist pins, retainers, valve springs. Engine was hot tanked and paint royal blue (dark, not skittle like) Cylinders were honed. I gave her a free 3-angle valve job. Also has a Edlebrock intake manifold. TrueTech custom mandrel bent turbo manifold. Full T3/T04E turbo kit with clipped and shaved fins. HKS SSQ BOV, Custom mandrel bent IC piping that was sent to a shop and polished. Also has a 28x11x3.25 IC. XS engineering core w/ custom end tanks. Engine also comes with MSD ignitions, packs, FPR (integra), SS oil feed lines, Greddy oil catch tank, HKS "Shroom Style" intake filter. Much more. In order to get pictures I must see proof of funds being available for the purchase. Asking 4,900 for everything and Ill ship for free since im feeling squirelly right now

ALSO: Engine only has 2,300 miles on her, turbo has about 1,100.

FYI: Engine is extremely strong. Spool up is quick. Full boost by 3,900RPM's. First dyno at 15psi was a full 335fwhp/290lb. ft. tq. Second dyno (4 weeks ago) at the highest 25psi was 456fwhp/360lb. ft. tq. Car did a 12.0 1/4 on 15psi and race gas. Have not run at 25psi but Im sure it will do every bit of 11-lower w/ slicks.

456 HP ???? for 5k !

I wish I wasn't so busy writing a paper or I'd give that comment a proper response. I suppose its for the best anyway, I'd rather not sink down to your level.

Cheers,

Pieter

Where on earth would you find drive shafts that could handle that kind of power? not only drive shafts, but transmission and clutch as well. I had no clue a 7a could do that!

The tranny that's mounted to that engine has been gone over and has forged stuff and not much of what's inside the tranny is stock, and the clutch is an aftermarket unit. As far as drive shafts, I have no idea. I'd ask the guy who's selling it if you're interested.

thats sweet!! i wonder how it does as far as keeping traction... cuz if you could keep the wheels from breaking loose that motor would be INSANE.

ATTENTION!!!
Follow the link and read carefully:

I've got a 94 Corolla DX Motor for sale. Car ran without oil for 5 miles and has a spun bearing in cylinder #3. Motor only has about 98K on it. Only think that needs to be done is replace that bearing. If you're the least bit knowledgable it's not hard. Perfect for a project motor.

Perfect for a project motor - definitely. If only I had 5K I 'd get it...dream, dream.
At least it gives us some ideas of what can be done to an ST engine.

If it's a real 7AFE then it isn't from a DX. The DX has the 4AFE, the LE's have the 7AFE. Just a tidbit for ya'll.
