If they have supply near your area, said they weren't going to carry them anymore and wanted them sold.

Mine are coming from Plano so im sure you can find them too. I'm in Denton.

ebc green stuff pads are pretty crappy pads that love to eat stock rotors. one example of how awesome they are is my friend that had them on his 02 wrx kept having brake fade following me on my stock brakes and we would have to pull over every 5 minutes so his brakes could cool down. his rotors were shot after only having them for 5k miles. i would go with duralasts before the ebc pads. highly recommend hawk hps pads if you can find them.

Yeah ive totally seen that happen, my friend had some on his 03 Focus SVT and I was with him when he keep complaining about his brakes not grabbing after some stop and go traffic on the freeway. He said he got these Green Stuff Pads which grabbed Nicely at first but heated up way to fast. He changed them after less than a month from having them put on. I wonder if its just the Green Stuff Pads that do that though?

Well evidently the "system was wrong" and the store didn't actually have them, so i just went with the Hawks that i'm accustomed to.

On a side note.. i just got my clear front bumper signals, and they look niiiice. Need to get some LED's for them but they make a much bigger difference than i thought they would.

you made a good call. i think you will be happier with hawks than ebc pads. its just i haven't heard really any positive feedback from people that have used them.

It specifically states that the material is organic. Not only that the brakes are applied with a "COATING" for your first braking for extreme stopping power, what about the 2nd brake,3rd, last?. Hence your cheap 5hit sold for over $50. You might as well buy ceramic pads. Even the warranty is crap compared to most organic pads that have a lifetime.
