I like both the red gauge cluster lights but i also like the Indiglo gauges that change 7 different colors at night...if anyone has either of these 2 things which do you like best... The red lights will be a total of 4.50$ and the indiglo gauges are about 30$...any input would be helpful! thanks

I had indiglos in my car, and got sick of them within a couple months. Now I've got the red bulbs in my gauge cluster and I love it.

I have glow gauges and I'm sick of them, but I glued them down so the needles wouldn't stick. Is there anyway to replace the factory faces without buying the whole instrument cluster?

There are my old indiglos. I no longer have any photos of my car with the red bulbs because my computer with those photos crashed, but I'll take tons of pics once my car is done. -------------------- New Toyota project coming soon...

How did you take the glow gauges off and not have ur factory ones look like crap. I took one off and it looks terrible becuase of the glue I used to keep the needles from sticking? |

i too got tired of my indiglo gauges in about a month in my old car. what i intend to go with next time is "reverse indiglo gauges". only the numbers and dashes light up on those. for example

Is it possible to get new factory style gauges or would the whole instrument cluster have to be changed.

He doesn't get what u used to attach the glo gauges to be able to get them off without ruining the gauges from stuck glue or residue.

Since I glued down me glow gauges, if I take them off, the factory ones underneath are pretty much ruined. Is there anyway for me to replace the factory faces without buying the whole instrument cluster? |

I think that you can buy just the tach, speedometer, and other parts, but you'd probably be better off looking for a used entire gauge cluster. -------------------- New Toyota project coming soon...

You probably got painted bulbs, which just have a blue coating on the glass. I had these in my sidemarkers a long time ago, and they faded to a light green within months. What you need to do is get some quality bulbs that have actual blue glass, because those don't fade. -------------------- New Toyota project coming soon...
