I think it looks much better, especially with the black blocks. I would maybe add another black feature to the car for contrast. (side mirrors?)

Nice idea that !!

I'm going for the blue theme that is with the car. It's blue under the bonnet, and also at the front with the hoses from the front mount intercooler. So I was thinking about painting the solid OZ letters that are on the bottom of the alloys and also painting the wheel nuts blue.

I really like that idea of the black wing mirrors

Black on blue works as well...but the mirrors are almost necessary, that would look awesome.

I'm thinking I'll go for black as well if I get wheels, it works well with silver. smile.gif

Man, you own a GT-4, enough said. You could have put 15" steel wheels on it, and I still would drool over the car wink.gif

looking good dude, +1 for the idea of the blue wheel nuts and the blue oz letters, so people know you have epic rollers.

Yup it sure does. I dunno how it'll look when I go gunmetal grey though !

Why gunmetal? Although it would look great as well, I like black just fine. Keep it this way. thumbsup.gif

I've always been a fan of gunmetal grey and candy apple red... Red wouldn't suit it and I think the grey would look awesome.

Black just hides all the sexy curves that the GT4 has !

Only do black mirrors if you can score a set of Ganadors. Otherwise leave the mirrors alone. Stock mirrors painted a different color looks like you damaged the original ones, and the off-colored ones are temporary.

My suggestion is investing in projectors and paint the inner housings black. You can also do the same on the stock lights, it's just a bit harder to see due to the frosted lens.

I too have the Black on Silver theme going on with wrx - I'll post up a shot of the blackened headlights and black wheels. Super awesome.

And as an afterthought - you could smoke the side indicators and clear front markers (even though wolfie's lenses are expensive, and I wouldn't want to screw them up).

Cheers for your reply dude.

The wing mirrors aren't standard, still unsure about painting them black. Might just keep them

This is really the clearest pictures I have at the moment. Just black out the headlights and leave the reflective areas alone.
