At long last my engine and gearbox conversion is complete and in the car.
All up and running. Last thing to do on the engine is plumb-in the std DV. It has 2 connectors on it - anybody know how?? |

Gonna see if the GT4 rear shock assembly fits the GT as they are shorter and will hold the lowering springs in firmly.
Might even try and fit the ST205 rear ARB as its 17mm thick instead of the 16mm GT - thats if it goes over the fuel tank pipe along with the polly bushes for the ARB. |

So the std GT4 ST205/185 rear shocks dont fit as the 2 bolt holes to the hub at the lower end are different .
Also the std ST205 rear ARB won't fit as its a completely different shape im confused, stock air box? (mstoochn) Only till running in is done - then a better DV and induction kit This post has been edited by jeffrosie: Jul 13, 2009 - 4:06 PM |

ST185 rear brakes fitted.
Will soon fit the fronts when I find them somewhere within my messy garage. They are only a couple of mm larger, but will use them as they have the option of Red/Yellow Stuff pads. Std GT calipers only get the option of Green Stuff pads. |

Your manifold heat shield is amazing. I like that about as much as I like a chrome plated one.
I hope the heat doesn't wreck the colour. -------------------- |

Think the paint will be OK as its been primed with heat resistant primer and got a heat resistant base coat on after which the RED was applied in very light coats before finishing with a gloss coat.
