im considering these calipers from an ssIII, would they be a direct bolt on? where could i get the parts to refurbish them?

SSIII has superstrut suspension... so probably not a bolt on. I imagine it would require similar modifications as the GT4 calipers do to bolt onto the MacPhearson knuckle. I think the old ST165 calipers, which are bolt on (but you'll probably still need a rotor), are twin piston... but that doesn't mean it'll brake any better either.

SSII has mcphearson fronts and the SSIII has superstrut fronts.

the c4 vettes has the same identical cage as the st185 calipers, but are twin piston. Its also aluminum. Has anyone ever thought of using that on their 6th gen? You'd have to use the 277mm rotors though.
