I just converted my stock oil catch tank to free breathing and I noticed a swirl of grease down my intake hose and on the insides of my intercooler ports.

I washed out my intake hose, but want to know how I go about cleaning out the turbo and intercooler insides without removing more parts than my standard half inch ratchet will allow me?

I've done that on NA to clean out the intake manifold, but is it ok to spray that down the throat of a turbo??

I use gasoline to wash out the i/c, but honestly I would not spray carb cleaner down the turbo. Wipe the turbo out as best as you can.

I have never sprayed carb cleaner down a turbo so not sure if it actually will kill a turbo. I would also assume as long as you primed the turbo prior to start up after the cleaning I wouldn't see where damage would occur, but to me it just does not sound like a great combination.

just let the carb cleaner dry out before spinning anything.
