I wanted to ask if anyone had an idea or can guide me of how to find out
the problem in my car with a rattleling noise in the engine whenever I turn the A/C.

And it only happens whenever I turn the AC on.

If I turn off the A/C the noise goes away.

But if I turn it back on the noise comes back,
it sounds like the engine is working double or something.

Please if any ideas or suggestions. Please let me know.
I would appreciate.

Thank you.

how many miles on the engine? of course your engine is going to have to work harder with the A/C on, it drains power. use your damn windows or get a dark tint smile.gif the rattle is either the AC pulley/Belt or one of the fans going, get under the car and see if there's any play in the pulley and since your there you might as well replace the belt (15$)

My Celica has 330,000 and it still runs like a charm.

Never had problems with noises like the one is doing now.

You're so right. It has to be the A/C pulley belt, because that's
what it souns like, like if there is a belt loose, I just didin't know the
A/C has one.
Is it easy to replace?
