what you see there is just pottery clay, the last pictures show the layers of plaster and cloth to make a mold, that has been removed already, now I have a mold with the shape of the piece of mud you see on the first pictures, tomorrow, I'll make the first piece using that mold wink.gif then molding to bumper, and prep work for paint. hopefully if weather and time allows I'll be done sunday afternoon

rain over the weekend didn't let me do much, so now doing a little everyday

here is how far I got today, the piece is molded, now comes the fun part

Sanding

as far as people calling dibs, I'm still not sure if I will make any of these to sell, I definitely can use the extra cash, but I previous experiences make me hesitant about it

Nice!

I feel sorry for the Celica getting plaster all over it though..

It'll be cool to see the final result.

the bumper will be re-spray when done, the plaster couldn't possible made the bumper look worst that what it was lol, but on the last pictures what you see is fiberglass piece being molded in, no more plaster or pottery clay lol.

I don't have a GT4 grill to be 100% sure, but base on the mold I made of Jim's front end, GT4 grill will fit with no proboem, but I'm going for something more like this

I think it'll be more unique and wil catch people's eyes more.

laugh.gif that would be funny wouldn't it ?

I may just get a Home depot grill for the time being, a Gt4 grill if I can find a deal on one down the road.
