its either the master or the slave.
if you pump the pedal and hold it down, and the slave comes out and slowly goes back in, the slave is bad. if the slave dont move at all, the master is bad.

I was gonna say, pipe leak. I had that with a Passat once. If the rebuild worked for you, that's great news!

bringing this back up. my clutch pedal occasionally gets stuck while at a stop and sometimes when i accelerate while letting go of the clutch pedal, the pedal gets sucked back in on its own so I imagine one or both of my clutch cylinders need to be replaced or fixed. i want to rebuild my clutch cylinders on my own instead of purchasing an entirely new cylinder assembly. can you post the part number for the rebuild kit as I can't seem to find it on toyodiy. thanks.

I cant' seem to get my Celi into gear. The clutch pedal goes down and comes back up ok, but it feels REALLY loose.

Ideas?

Gerard; do you have an ST205? those parts that he linked us to were for the 205 chassis. The parts for the 204 are significantly different in price...

What if the pedal goes in and comes back out, but I cannot feel the clutch engage?
