Don't do any hacking. Swap the mount with a 7th gen from a junk yard and it screws right on. Lock-tite so it doesn't get stolen.

for the hacking guide...
after you affix it to the s2000 antenna with super glue in the extended position would it not screw up the motor when it tries to retract it back in place? |

That how to should be deleted. I tried editing it but it never got uploaded. Buy the 7th gen non-power antenna base (86309-20300) and then the S2000 antenna screws right into it.
