Alright, another update.

I took off my front bumper and driver side high-beam to get the condensation out and reseal it, and my friend Joe was looking at the taken apart headlamp and said "Hey, you could paint this ribbon thing..." and I looked at it and was like "Hmm, never seen it done before, I could be the first... And it might look pretty cool!" So I went to Kragen and got some black glossy paint.

I took LOTS of pictures of doing this step by step and opening/sealing the headlamps, etc. but my computer crashed and all I have is cell pics from the days after. The pics of the process are on my camera. I'll post them up when I get everything back to normal on my computer.

But for now, here's the end result in low quality pictures;

Visibility is exactly the same. I actually got a quote from a junkyard close by for the lows just incase. But visibility wasn't affected at all.

I actually did that right after I took those last set of pics

You weren't the only one it was bugging.

And thanks, guys! But the drivers side turn signal got lost in shipping (I guess it wasn't screwed down) so now I'm waiting for Stevenson to check if either he has it or file a claim with Greyhound... And the way everything has been going so far, it could be awhile before any of that happens.

Just saw on your first post the pics of the 7th Gen shifter swap. I'm curious as I find the factory 6th Gen shifter feels rather tall for my liking. Just wondering what parts/modifications were needed and how you like it compared to the old one?
