I believe it is not the pics now because in white no matter how bad the pics were, it shown. If i try to modify the pic in photoshop or in the camera, it looks unnatural and ugly. I took those pics in broad daylight as in "sun burns your eyes" song. I will figure it out though. If you do a comparison to all the black ones here with the Tom's lip, you can barely see them as well. I could barely find a decent pic from DSRT also, most of his are hard to see also. Even in real life you can barely see it. My painter and friend believes I have the blackest car on island. He dares me to find a car blacker than mine. So far all the other black cars I've seen look brown or gray to me now compared to mine. It is black toner - straight black PPG Global, and PPG Global Clear mixed with the same toner to get a hint of BLACK CLEAR. REAL DEEP Black. But at least so far no bad criticizm about the car only with the pics. I'm almost done with this celi, spent too much money over time, my profile does not even speak for $$ in between and shipping costs overseas. - I don't plan on building it for racing, I barely have enough time now. But I will be making it a stronger NA vehicle for daily driver and spirited driving.

Honestly Manny, I've parked next to 202 cars and they are a lighter black, mine is still way darker. i've even compared with the 202 black onyx with obsidian black. The black toner I used is darker than Toyota's black toner. My friends who have black cars admit my car is really black.

202 mixture is somewhat like below. There is definitely some yellow. Supra forums agree PPG 740 is the deepest black.

If you thought white was too hard to keep clean welcome to black hell. I love black but I have to wash my car 2 or three times a week. I'm thinking of going with a black cherry for mine. But it's like they say, "once you go black you can't go back."

Black is indeed harder to keep clean but since everything else in this world is darker than white, it shows it dirtiness. Same with black since everything is lighter than black it shows too.

Black is such a double-edged sword...the most beautiful when clean, but then fifteen minutes later it's the filthiest color.
