I just converted my stock oil catch tank to free breathing and I noticed a swirl of grease down my intake hose and on the insides of my intercooler ports.
I washed out my intake hose, but want to know how I go about cleaning out the turbo and intercooler insides without removing more parts than my standard half inch ratchet will allow me? -------------------- Mike W

I've done that on NA to clean out the intake manifold, but is it ok to spray that down the throat of a turbo??

I use gasoline to wash out the i/c, but honestly I would not spray carb cleaner down the turbo. Wipe the turbo out as best as you can.
I have never sprayed carb cleaner down a turbo so not sure if it actually will kill a turbo. I would also assume as long as you primed the turbo prior to start up after the cleaning I wouldn't see where damage would occur, but to me it just does not sound like a great combination. -Terracar -------------------- '92 ST185, '88 ST165, '05 Galant LS, '08 Legacy
