Gt Rear Disc Rotor Specs, Ran into a little stump about the rear disc conversion Options

Anybody out there run into a snag when doing there rear disc conversion, everything was going good until i was hit with there are two different rotors that the gt model came with through the years of 94-95 and 96-99, basically all the specs on the two rotors are the same except for the height difference, one rotor is a 2.53 and the other rotor is a 2.56, i guess i can ask the guy i bought the setup from what year assembly it is but other than that right now im stuck at a crossroad. I mean its a +3 difference in the two rotors but i would think that would make a difference assuming the parking assembly has to fit over the rotor but then again is too much the way to go, what do you think?
