That's low! I seem to remember some exhaust-scraping giant speed bumps up there... I can only imagine how Abby handles those.

If you remove the rear seats, its 4 bolts total, then you can remove the plastic trim panel that surrounds the rear speaker. With it removed you can now reach up into the quarter panel and pop that dent out of the driverside quarter panel.
Good luck with it. |

Yea. Its from the accident I had last winter. The dent spans the length of the quarter panel, it just has a special crease there. I have yet to take it in to get it fixed.

On that note, I heard of this guy in Chicago that does pretty decent body work for cheap... I think I've found my direction....
I'll stay silver, but I'm wanting some Work Meisters... Like hardcore. Anyway, That body guy did this: I think Abby will be ok in his hands... This post has been edited by bloodMoney: Oct 8, 2012 - 10:53 AM -------------------- ~bloodMoney

Haven't really made much progress in the way of getting Abby fixed... I had to replace the passenger axle and rear engine mount, only to find that the clunking i was hearing up there was the passenger side sway bar mount disintegrating....
Today it is 87*F outside and I'm still on my winter wheels... I should probably fix that. Otherwise, She's running pretty good. I think there may be a fuel leak somewhere, because I can smell it when I shut the car off... Until I prep for the swap, I'm just going to continue to drive her around as she sits today. I was involved in a 3 car accident some months back and I've been too busy with other things to fix it. This will be the third driver fender that will go on to her. I have been focusing instead on our other two cars. Since they don't get hit whenever I pull them out of the garage... -------------------- ~bloodMoney

Dan/Berto, believe it or not, those are the OEM wheels off my Ralliart. 18x7 +46 on 215/40/18 tires. They're a little tall, but they were just laying around and I needed to use them for something..... -------------------- ~bloodMoney

I was gonna say "hey look lancer wheels!" but then saw you mention it afterwards. They look OK, too narrow and too little offset in the rear... you need to raise the car a little lol. Never even imagined I would see those wheels on a celica, they're heavy as fk

They look nice but probably do weigh about 24 a piece?
Chris, you made an excellent choice in grabbing those. I would have been the first to stuff his paypal if I was investing anything else in the car. These wheels are horribly heavy....
But I they were leftovers from this: As for raising the car, I wasn't planning on it, unless something gives me a very good reason to do so. Once I finalize a direction that I want to go with on the body, I'll make a more permanent decision on the wheels. For now though, this setup works -------------------- ~bloodMoney
