well was painting my rims (refurbishing them whatever) i did them 2 at a time first front 2 then rear 2. front 2 everything was fine. but i took of the rear and came back like 10 min later an the car was on the floor. i always use those jack stands. the car had apparently rolled back a lil and the jack fell back. i didn't see any real damage can't tell yet for sure but the rear disk might be a lil roughed up an the metal around it is bent. the metal was easy 2 bend back. its stick but i always leave it in 1st and the e brake was all the way up. it fell would say about a foot to a foot and a half. wat type of damage should i be looking for. by the way i put a big rock behind the front wheel but seems it didn't help. will it be fine what do i look for. i know i know im so stupid but Ive worked on my car for about 2 years all types of things nothing like this has ever happened before.

these are basically the jack stands i used

You are probably fine, rotors are incredibly tough. Put the wheels on and drive it, if the brakes make noise or shake, it's time for new rotors.

If you were in first your car shouldn't have rolled back - especially if you had the rear of the car up in the air. If anything it should have rolled forward, due to the E-brake pulled (no use if your rear end is airborn!), being in first gear, the rear up higher in the air, and a rock behind the front wheels (won't help if it rolls forward)

So with that said - are you SURE it didn't roll forward, because unless you were parked up a slope, it couldn't have rolled backwards on it's own.

WELL its driving fine. sure it rolled back (im afraid that some one might have bumped into it) i can tell cuz of the marks left on the street you see the drag marks it rolled back.
