so i painted stock rims graphite. don't have money for new rims yet wanna know what you guys think of the color. this was my 1st attempt to paint rims, so please go ez on me. seriously though what do YOU think. i did sand and file the whole 9 yards. my pops says its not a good color. i kinda like it. was hoping for more of a goldish/bronze tho.
they were like this. (remember their 15 yr old rims)

i used this

and they came out like this

I say it looks horrible. I don't know if it's because the coat isn't even, or if you didn't do enough layers. Probably a combination of both. I think you need to go darker, more coats, and clearcoat.

Honestly it did not come out the others did here, it just looks dirty, try another color or brand or type of spray.

Looks good man, I'd keep them as is. Goes nicely with your 6g's color. I'd rock it.

nope, its ok, what you need is clear coat to bring out the shine.

I am getting ready to tackle the same project on my 97 wheels. I like this color on your car, but not for mine (red). I think all you need is a few coats of clear to give them some more shine. Plus it will somewhat protect the paint. Let us know how that paint wears after a few weeks on the road.

Colour looks pretty good, but looks like it needs more colour to make it even..?

Won't last very long without clear coat....
