130hp at the crank is pushing it without some work, 130 at the wheels...i'll have to say BS without a dyno and video or something. typical bolt ons net 5-8whp and about the same torque. its mostly just moving the power around and clearing out dead spots in the powerband.

I will gladly take pics or whatever, but imma save the dyno cash for my swap. But I was referring to the crank. Hell i wish I could get 130 at the wheels from a 7a....

with a cai, headers, full exhaust i could sell a 7a banking around 120-125hp (at the fly)

mods cost more than the engine tho tongue.gif laugh.gif

well with the ebay header, port matching, little more agressive cams, and a small bit of spray i'm sure a 7afe could peak at 140-150whp and matching torque, but how long it would last with a stock bottom end like that is tough to say, especially with the spray. the 7afe is not a rev happy engine, its built to give torque over a broad rpm range, doing things to accentuate that like the right cams or higher compression pistons can make it a good deal more pleasant to drive. but in the end there are better engines to spend money on.

internals reinforce the motor, not much power to gain in that area. Unless you're talking about cams and faster movement of pistons, timing, fuel/air, etc....

Hey CelicaST_CALI,

You should add this "http://www.6gc.net/information" to your signature....
-converting a noob one at a time....lol
