Heyy.

I'm going up to Sacramento to go down to the drag races with a few of my buddies. I just want to know what kind of times I can expect to run.

I have a stock (except short ram intake) 96' GT hatch.

I was thinking somewhere in the 17 or 18s, but I don't know for sure.

Thanks,
John

(I tried searching... Didn't find much).

16-18 is a good generalized range. It will really depend on reaction time.

Hopefully in the 16's.

A 3S-GE powered ST202 can do a high 15 with perfect launch and shift. A 5S-FE powered ST204 shouldn't be too far off that.

My GT, same intake as yours, runs the 1/8 mile at 10.804, between 60 and 70 mph. I can't remember exactly how fast. I just remember beating the Solstice. I'll find my receipt and let you know. We don't have a full 1/4 mile track around here, but maybe another member can tell you what you should expect to run based on how I ran in the 1/8.

Don't ST's run in the 17's? I thought GT's managed in the 15's.

Reaction time has nothing to do with 1/4 mile time....so take your time at the tree.

I would expect between 16.5-17.5 depending on your 60' times. When you get back, let us know how you made out.
