So I am looking at a full sized 4 door pick up, don't care if it is a v6 or a v8, I want to spend below 20k on it.
I am looking at the 05-09 body style Tacoma - I know toyota last forever which is why I am tending to favor a toyota.
I like the 2004-2009 Nissan Titan - I have never owned a Nissan or known anyone who has so any advise on them would be greatly appreciated.

Any info on either would be great.

Thanks guys

You should look at the Tundra if you want full sized, the Tacoma is a mid-sized truck.

I've worked on and driven the Nissan Titan briefly, they seem nice. I always hear mixed owner reviews though, some people love them, some people hate them. A while back I think it was Motor Trend that rated it the best full size truck for the money.

Depends on what you want to do with the Truck, you planning on towing another car? A V6 Tacoma would not do the job actually any V6 gasoline would greatly suffer from towing another car. The Titans aren't too bad pretty spacious inside the cabin and lots of features. Just remember your buying a Gas guzzler and not some fancy 2 door coupe. If you can just buy a used domestic Truck at least parts and the truck itself is cheap and they have plenty of powa. The older Tundras suffer from a lot of minor engine problems such as EGR and O2 sensors which are always going out. I would suggest the new Tundras but we all know the economy is like crap atm. Good luck paying for gas.

My dad had a nissan frontier, 07.

It called for ONLY premium fuel, it ran like crap with anything else. IIRC most the new Nissans are calling for the 93oct. ..So think about that when considering, it got pricey at the pump...

No, it looks like a hooker put her acid vag on your hood. Acid vag = bigger problem than a few dings.

Just went for a ride in the new Titan, it was very awesome smile.gif They back seat was very roomy which is could cause its very hard to drive 4 people in the celica. Looked at the frontier but the back seat was too small. I am not planning on towing anything, but it would be nice to do if i ever had to, like quads or a small trailer or anything. I am not worried about gas mileage, I am not buying a truck to get good gas mileage thats why i am keeping the celica smile.gif
You don't buy trucks to save on gas, you buy a truck to haul stuff and to get to places that need 4WD...

I really like the Tundras but they are just so much more money than the Titans frown.gif I didn't notice that it said anything about using premium gas, but i wasn't looking for that, that would kinda suck to HAVE to buy premium all the time...
