I wish I had a truck...I could smell exhaust fumes the whole way home (10 minute drive)

10ft pipes ALMOST fit.

Supplies gathered

Magically...

APPEAR!

Wrap it up!

Exhaust Filter

Exhaust Fan

Intake Filter

My new door.

Finished for the night.

Gun for the booth

Other side

I plan on laying plastic on the ground and sealing the bottom part tomorrow. Then I can get to primer the pieces.

Nice PurpleGT4,
When it finally comes time to paint my spoiler and mirrors, I'll be doing the same thing just with a slightly different fan. Are you blowing air in, or blowing it out? From what I've heard, it's better to blow in with multiple filters set up, this way it keeps the room positively charged and will help keep out dust.

Looking forward to seeing how it comes out!

i've read around with the positive pressure factor. For this i have a fan setup, but i just wanted to clear the walk way. I'd have to duct tape the crap out of the fan tho. I should get another box fan for intake.

Hmm....Couldn't you just create a overhead static placement. For instance, grab a ton of helium filled ballons, rub'em on yourself. Create plenty of static on them. Circulate the air for a hour or so, and relatively become dust free then?

Still like the booth idea though. Creative.

Was thinking of renting those of PODs ya know that people use for moving. Sealing it, after a proper dust removal that is, and painting my car in there. Ghetto, but I only have a drive way, so thinking of options.

That's actually not a bad idea. If you can fit your car in there, I'm sure you could get it clean and then do the same thing the OP did, lining the whole thing with plastic.
