VERY nice. Is this the same basic setup that Texas ace is running? texas_ace has been through MANY revisions on his kit since we first started testing and development of the kit. But basically, yes, it's the same kit. Texas_ace's kit is using the S252. His dyno is the one in the first post making around 325whp. Yea, I meant the lastest version he is using now. Looks good, looking forward to more results! He's not running the final version of the kit yet, but close. -------------------- |

GORGEOUS Baktash, amazing as always. We will have to talk more about direct dyno comparisons between the internal wastegate and the external wastegate.....which i may want to try with the second kit we talked about
Great job again man. --------------------

I think the point 6gtfour is trying to make he would like the numbers in a perfect world. No matter what the kit will produce different results for each engine based on condition, day of the week, and a myriad of different factors. I don't know anyone who garauntees their product will make x hp except maybe the magic chips on ebay.
X2 to what others said - if you are clueless about this sort of material - don't buy it - go buy a magic chip off ebay and a powered by Honda sticker - you will get the same hp gain (in case you were wondering yes the last part was sarcasm). If you feel so strongly for how a business/vendor/person should sell/market/test their product - go do it yourself. Baktasht - damn the DP looks simply amazing. -Terracar This post has been edited by Terracar: Sep 25, 2009 - 3:16 PM -------------------- '92 ST185, '88 ST165, '05 Galant LS, '08 Legacy

Those welds look as good as the ones on the GE T-700 series engines from the Black Hawk helicopters I workedin when I was in the Army. A thing of beauty,

Well as wonderful as the pics are here, i just have to ask about the other parts of this kit. Firstly, the downpipe and turbo will still be able to be used with the STOCK manifold and the design of the engine/engine bay correct? As well as the AN fittings you listed earlier.
Also, kinda a question off the last, will you be providing manifolds for the MR2 and Celica engines, that can be used with this kit as well? Will this kit be used on the 3rd/2nd gen 3sge as well? What about specs of turbos you brought up earlier ( i mean you gave a pretty vauge description before and while you did give the name of the manufacturer of the turbo's why should i or anyone else look it up when you are selling them ^_^)? The downpipe/turbo/wastegate pics look nice, but just looking for a bit more info. Everything seems kinda vauge right now, and i know im not the only person wanting to ask these questions. Hmmm if i can think of anymore irratating questions for you or anyone else that can aswer then ill post them, but this is all i have for now. EDIT x2: Btw its nice to see you have your site back up and running, as well as the store!! Also will you be able to ship to APO addresses? Firstly, the downpipe and turbo will still be able to be used with the STOCK manifold and the design of the engine/engine bay correct? As well as the AN fittings you listed earlier. The downpipe/turbo/manifold/etc... Will all bolt up directly without any extra parts or modifications. Everything needed is included in the kit. Tha AN fittings necessary are also included Also, kinda a question off the last, will you be providing manifolds for the MR2 and Celica engines, that can be used with this kit as well? The kit bolts up directly to the 3sgte exhaust manifold. There is no need for any other manifold or modification. If you have a motor other than the 3sgte, you'll need to source and fit a 3sgte manifold in order to fit this turbo kit. The turbo is manufactured by Borg Warner. Borg Warner is one of the worlds largest turbo manufacturers. Companies like Mercedes, BMW, Porsche and others use Borg Warner turbos. They are some of the highest quality turbo's around. As far as compressor maps and the power capabilities of each turbo available with this kit, that information can be found on this page: http://www.emspowered.com/storefront/index...products_id=325 The downpipe/turbo/wastegate pics look nice, but just looking for a bit more info. Everything seems kinda vauge right now, and i know im not the only person wanting to ask these questions. Ask and I'll do my best to answer and clarify. I'm here for you guys. MR2 Bolt-on Turbo Kit (300-625hp)
Retail Price: Starting at: $999,999.00 I'd probably do quite well on the real estate market investing that money instead of in a turbo. what makes this turbo so expensive? a million bucks? is that $USD or Japanese Yen? |

This is a very nice down pipe. Definately a different approach compared to others I've seen. I like the idea of the external wastgate and a screamer pipe and also having a flexi there to reducce tension to avoid cracking.
XS has started to make DP with sports cats on them and alot of people have their eyes on it in the UK and awaiting emissions results. Question? What grade of Stainless steel do you use? Is the wast gate welded or can I change it? Abit silly sorry but the flange is for a ct20b Turbo right??? The top part of the pipe is a 2 or 2.5 before the flexi?? Ray |
