Those things are complete ripoffs! Think about it. A real turbo setup is probably going to cost you at least $2000. Buying a $150 turbo system is not going to help you. That description is pretty funny though.

a real turbo uses exhaust gasses from the engine to spin the turbine

this one uses electricity thats drawn from your cars electrical system
electricity is made via the accessories pulley that your engine spins
so basically its using power from your engine to make up for lost power

it might be good for 1 or 2 hp, but a better investment is a underdrive pulley which will give you 8 hp for the same basic function

wow that was confusing, mb someone can offer a better explantion

Have you ever seen the pump that pulls water out of a washing machine? That's what it looks like.

You know, with some thought, that's a good concept. If you could find a way not to use so much power. I wonder if you used an audio lightening cap and had a toggle switch to turn it on and off for special occasions how it would work. How much pressure did it claime to put out?

one of my friends did this on his 1st gen eclispe and it does make a little bit of a difference but not a $160+ difference... make it yourself if you that interested in it
