Forgetting the legality, why exactly do you want a used cat?

I mean I understand that, but you have no idea what you are getting with a used cat - not really an easy way to tell condition. You could end up replacing your junked one with one in the same condition. I guess if you have nothing, it's better than that but I would just go new.

my comment was referring to that its probably not legal what he wants to do with it, which means hes not going to tell you anyways since it would not be allowed on this board...

I bought stock exhaust that I want to put on the car but my older set up is a mess it was welded couple of times and my cat is welded on one side and I cant put my new exhaust. I want to avoid welding and use all bolt on parts.
