It's been a while but since I got the car, I installed JDM tails (still need to take some pics of it) and custom JDM projectors and high beams!
I bought the projectors from whatthe (thanks!) but the chrome surfaces were flaking...so I decided to make the best of it and customize them. Basically I took the lights apart, and gave the chrome few coats of gloss black I left the back chrome on the highs alone, and only painted the front chrome part, figuring that painting the back black will probably affect how the high beam works..but I'm tempted to open them up again to paint them.... tell me what you think...I'm open to criticism This post has been edited by nammer: Jan 18, 2010 - 6:57 PM -------------------- |

i would leave them as they are now. like you were touching on, the chrome part in the back of the highs is actually designed to direct the light. they are what are reffered to free form. my vote is to leave them as is. i think you'd be irritated at the reduced brightness of the highbeams.

Last year they had something like 15 people, and about 3 or 4 ST205s and a few ST185s too. I know they do one end of summer, but they might do one in the spring too. |

Oh, Your GT4 Looks awesome!!!!! I love how the rear lip flows with the sideskirts, I don't know of any matching front lips other than the eurou which I think is big and hideous, perhaps try TRD front splitters for ST205? They will flow with the sideskirts and rear lip.
Nice projectors too -------------------- Mike W

Just noticed you're missing the foglight plastics! hmm interesting...i didn't notice until you pointed that out lol!...hmmm now it looks a bit bare...but at the same time looks ok haha Oh, Your GT4 Looks awesome!!!!! Nice projectors too thanks! ya i have to agree with you, the eurou front lip seems to stick out to the front a tad too much...I could have sworn I saw someone on here with ss-iii like front splitters on their gt4...or is it just the regular thin gt4 splitters? we should have the meet more towards spring! more sun =D yes that sounds good...or maybe during the olympics lol! -------------------- |
