94 ninja 500 w/ 15k miles. All the fairings have cracks and stuff but the bike ran cherry. The exhaust sounds awesome too. Can't wait to hop on it this weekend. Whoo!

Nice! it's hard to find an older bike with lower miles. That black really sets off the white! I'm a big fan of white bikes.
I'm right there with you though, hope to get tags for my bike tomorrow and get it on the road! hehe

have you already join a forum for your bike? Cause I know i have, haha.

Ya This was by far the best deal I've seen all summer, I didn't even know they came in white/black and it grew on me quick. I've been on sportbike.net, thats where I did all my research for the last couple months. Prolly gonna join a kawa site too for maintenance. How bout you?

I joined a gsxr.com, for maintenance as well. I don't see myself ever modding a bike, but only time will tell, haha.

I've been looking for the past few months, just browsing craigslist and random bike forums. Just happened to stumble across a '93 gixxer, with 15k miles as well actually, =D

you think you're going to leave the bike as is or change anything? A lot of people, first thing, put on the flat blinkers instead of the ones that stick out. From what I've noticed, that is like the most common thing to do, besides and exhaust. But you already have that covered =P

only thing I want to do is maybe put on some frame sliders and HID the headlights(since mine are pretty poor frown.gif )

At this point I'm not gonna put much money into it, I'm gonna give it a year for experience and then decide whether I want to trick it out (buy new plastics) or go for a bigger bike. Prolly do some plastic repair work with my buddy to clean it up and possibly blinkers. The exhaust sounds beastly on it, it was putting all the newer 600's at the bike shop to shame lol.

Enjoy the new ride and stay safe.

Those are AWESOME aftermarket fairings man. MUST HAVE for the Ninja 500s! Congrats on the bike!
