Itchy, I know it's your money and stuff but...Pyramid? Man, that's begginers' stuff...you could've gotten a JBL BP1200.1...more than enough for those Type R's...don't get me wrong, brother...I'm just saying that Pyramid ispecs are overrated and you only get like 1/4 of the watts it says on the amp...and much less quality sound...and if you're going to ask, hehe, yes...I used Pyramid years ago for my first stereos and they bumped but that was when I was little and didn't have a car to go out to a good stereo shop and get something better...anyway, you can get WAY more out of the JBL amps...or an MTX 500D...or OLD SCHOOL Rockford Fosgate...not their new GARBAGE! smile.gif

yeah i hear ya. im just poor 60 bucks a pop. but im running at 1 ohm instead of the ratted 2ohm so im pushing around 1000 i just have a couple heat sinks and fans on em. when these on crap the bed ill get a nice d-class mono block. but until then man they still hit so hard. way harder than my other four tens.

Wait, so you're running Pyramid amps that are only rated to run down to 2 ohms at 1 ohm? I can't imagine those amps being able to take that kind of abuse for long. wink.gif

all that is effect by running lower ohms is heat. and since i have no heat. everything is cool literly. my old amp i ran at 1ohm with 4 tens on it lol. i did sum custom work to the amp so it could disipate heat faster. lasted for 2 years till it was stolen.

man, u really need to look into some security if u havent already. I hate people who steal, its so low. My friend has his entire system jacked outta his s10 extreme.. and get this, they tried gettin his chrome wheels off but coudlnt, so they just beat the hell out of them with a hammer. I mean seriously, thats some scum of the earth... and it seems uve put some money and time into this, so dont let some punks screw it up 4 u.
