Wondering what the new warning thing next to your posts under your name is? It's the new member warning system that allows the 6G Celicas management to keep track of who's been violating the rules. If you violate the rules of the site, you may be warned, which will increase your warning level 20%. Also, at any point, at the discretion of the 6G Celicas management, your account may be modified so that your posts must be reviewed by the management before they're displayed, or your account may be banned indefinitely or for a certain amount of time.
I just thought I'd explain what all the new stuff is. If you've got any questions, please post. -------------------- New Toyota project coming soon...

thanks mac. as you could see in the test thread, we were just testing some of the features out, such as if you get to the point where we need to preview your posts before they are displayed.
one thing we wanna get your guys' opinions on is, do you think you should be able to see everyone's warning levels? or just your own? viewing all of the levels would require custom coding, but if that's what the people want, then that's what the people get. . personally, i just don't want it to get to the point where people post threads just about their warnings *if they have recieved one* and complaining about how it was unjustified or somethin like that. or threads taunting other users because of their levels. what do you guys think? -John- -------------------- |

I say not to share the warning cause then it would bring up .....who could get the most warnings without getting kicked off ...... or something to that effect
but this is a good idea. How do you know if you get warned ? Edit: lol never mind I see it now hahaha defgeph This post has been edited by defgeph: Oct 27, 2003 - 4:10 AM -------------------- I will return one day. |

I think that whole setup was a good idea. I really appreciate the cleanliness of the site, with the censors and everything.

great idea. but I think we should also be able to warn moderators. that k2 guy has been getting on my nerves lately in all seriousness though. I think the warnings should be kept private, once they are available to everyone there will be some useless threads about it I'm sure. |

I feel the same way regarding the warnings being kept private, and since it's a lot less work to leave them private, I think I'll keep it that way.

Um...I'm not just going to sit back while Matt threatens to hack into the site and ruin everything. He's threatened to hack into the site several times, so now his account is terminated. Also, it's a combination of stuff that he's done in the past that's lead to this. Creating multiple usernames to create havoc on the site, making racist posts, lying about things, using photos of other members' cars and claiming they're his own, etc. After so long, the management team gets so sick of all his drama that he brings onto the site. Just yesterday, I was nice enough to unban him from his temporary ban early, and I come back today to find that he's causing more trouble on the site and threatening to hack into the site. If he's "threatened" to hack into your site several times and never did anything then why the analness? I think matt is one of the biggest assets this site has. And you adding all this warning crap to it is hella ghey!
