The speedo goes up to 240, it's KMH for sure. That looks like a Ford dash anyway.

It's KMH, it's in Germany, on the Autobahn. I saw this the other day on Jalopnik I think it was. Guy is going about 95mph and that Vette passes him like he's standing still.

This is why Germany has the rechtsfahren law.

There are stretches of German highway (Autobahn) with no speed limits, and the normal limit is 130 which is about 80 MPH. In any speed limit situation, cars are absolutely NOT allowed to pass on the right, EVER. What you'll usually see is most people driving in the middle or right lane (trucks are restricted to the outside lane, I believe, and definitely not allowed in the left-most lane) and faster cars passing on the left. I think it's actually also unlawful to occupy the left lane if you're not passing.

Basically it means you drive on the right and only go into the left lane for passing. It's a law in Germany, here it's just good practice. But if anybody ever drives in the southeast, most notably Georgia & Florida, you'll know nobody follows this.

I remember a story my father told me. He was driving on the autobahn and he's passing someone in the left lane. About 2-3 miles behind him he sees someone flashing his lights, so he moves over to the right and in a few seconds this Porsche flies up and passes him.

In CO it's illegal to cruise in the left lane on highways. But nobody abides by that law. (AHEM TEXANS COUGH COUGH) And nobody enforces that law either.

i always use the left lane to pass, then again, in dallas and houston, the average speed of traffic is 85-90 mph.

It must be only San Antonio drivers that come to CO then. Lol its either that or yall texas drivers just conspire with each other before you go up there like, "Hey. Ima come up to pass you. But then I just won't. And we'll slow down to about 5 under the speed limit..."

Of course I'm only joking, but I swear something like that has to be happening!
