I have a 94 ST 7A-FE, and just found a used engine (70k on it). So i want to be replacing some regular maintenance items that are fairly difficult to do with the engine in the car, while the engine is still out of the car.
I found a kit online that includes
-Timing belt
-Tensioner
-Water pump
-Water pump gasket
-Cam seal
-Crank seal
-Spark plug seals
-Valve cover gasket
-Grommets
I am not sure what else I should replacing while the engine is still out. I'm not looking to replace things like the cap and rotor, those things are all brand new on my old engine and aren't a big deal to change while the engine is in my car. Im looking for, kid of "internals" i guess, things that are hard and expensive maintenance procedures, while the engine is in the car (like the timing belt) thanks alot guys this will help me keep my celi forever! smile.gif

Looks like he just wants to overall maintenance, just make sure you do all the seals and gaskets and you should be good! waterpump and timing belt you've said which are the most important, but Id make sure to do all the other seals and gaskets too not just the ones around the timing belt. Its up to you with your clutch, 70k miles is about average for a clutch to give out so If I were you Id do clutch too and dont forget rear main seal wink.gif.

My old engine has a brand new clutch and resurfaced flywheel I will be using my whole transmission from my car now as its all new and good still. Not looking into rebuilding, or i woulda done that with my engine now, i just dont have the time. I also bought a new thermostat. All of the things i bought have new gaskets and I should be good, I just wanted to make sure there wasnt something i was missing. thanks guys-
