Aw how did you get yourself into that mess?

Driving to my friend's house tonight at around 8:30 (dark) and the little kids were playing out front. Wanted to be polite and not blind them, so I turned off my driving lights and attempted to park next to the curb (I had done this hundreds of times) and when I pulled up it went SCRATCHHH and all the kids went "OOOOOOOOO."

I got out and almost fainted. I PROMISED myself I'd never do that frown.gif

Ugh. Any way to fix it?

its a pretty common wheel, i would just buy a new rim and keep it til the next time you replace the tires, then keep the other as a spare.

You can have the lip sanded down and repolished.

But you should have invested in tires that are wide enough to hang over a bit so you curb your tire and not the wheel.

Lesson learned I suppose. Don't worry about it. I did the same thing once.... with my Rays. Just be glad that if you want to replace the wheel you won't be spending $400 for it.
