January 6 the fun starts. I won a go kart, and I have already picked it up. (edited 1/14/09) Its a double seat, the only problem i need to pick it up. 220 miles. whats the safest way?

its a 6.5 HP tecumseh, that will e replaced down the road, i need to start it for now, but the kart has not started in 2 years. The carburator has gunk, all over inside. Im rebuilding it. if not ill order a new one.
I am learning small engine repair. Which is cool. This kart will be painted a different color. Havent decided yet. Ill post pics of the inside of the engine later, but im happy with this baby. Top speed is 25 mph they say. BTW i knew i had to repair. -------------------- Learned a lot in 10 years... I think i know what it is, it will not come out in the future. Just an update the carburetor is out, i am rebuilding it to see if the engine even starts. then i need to see of the torque converter is still good and the clutch. I have to check the drum and brake band make sure i dont crash myself. enjoy some pics. bad gas (3 years old)  engine out  carburetor
