I hope this doesn't get closed... I figure since a lot of you are established members on here, it'd be a good place to start. So please don't close my totally and completely non-celica related thread! tongue.gif

The tranny on my g/f's Jetta is slipping and rapidly on its way out, and needs to be replaced ASAP. Does anyone on here have a good source or connection that can sell me a used or rebuilt replacement? I'll have cash in hand by the end of the week. If the price is right and shipping is required, that's fine; obviously a local source would be best—by local I mean anyone between say Eugene, OR and Seattle. I'd even go as far South as Medford. Ultimately, I just need a transmission though!

I'll have the tranny code shortly if anyone actually has a source. Thanks!

There is a place up in Redmond called Achtuning that can probably help you out, either to rebuild the current transmission, or source a new one. Super reputable company. Only works on VW's, Audi, and Porsche. They're pretty popular on the Vortex.
