waddup guys,

Anyone know the part number for the gas tank door assembly?

The metal bracket that screws into the quarter panel is what broke but apparently you have to buy the whole package to get the bracket...

I called a salvage yard and they wouldn't sell me just the bracket. Anyone know if it's the same part on other Toyotas? Anyone have an extra one I could buy?

Don't wanna hi-jack your thread... if the cost for replacement plus paint cost over usd$70, just go to BS forum to look for Clear Gas lid

I still have the actual door since it broke off as I was opening it so I won't need to pay repainting costs.

I think I found the part and it costs about $40 not including S&H for the entire assembly. frown.gif

Mine broke off recently. I found a red gas door assembly from the classifieds here. It's quite a bitch taking the door off of the hinge, you need to use pliers to bend the door off of the hinge then clamp the hinge assembly to your old door.

My gas door now is as good as ever, but it has a red hinge (you only notice it when the gas door is open, otherwise it looks the same as before).

Can I see a picture of what you have before I decide to buy it off you?

Thanks!
