So, I decided to stop by and take a visit. Its been a while. Wondering if some of my old friends still linger around here. I took a peek at the, now, 121 page post-a-pic thread and didn't recognize much. Of course, I'm on page 3 and 4, so who's to blame. Lets do some name drops and see if I get lucky....

Sure have dropped like flies. I'm sure they've migrated onto other vehicles not unlike myself. Its good to see a few still around though. btw- you car makes me miss my good ol' celica. love the sig. |

whoa, that will take me back. I've got pretty far since the Celi - but here I go.

Wow, and I thought that I got around! Nice progression. Except the MR-S seems like a step back from the STI, and then a big step forward into the BMW. Yea, the MR-S is sort of a step backwards from the STi. My choices at the time was the STi alone, or the MR-S for fun and a 4-door Golf 1.8T for a daily driver. I choose the latter. I needed storage room to carry product (i sell electronics) and pulling up in a STi isn't the best in that scenario. However, I will say this.... after driving STi's and Evo's for quite some time - the MR-S ----which can be had for less than 10k ---- is just as much fun as the AWD tuner classics of the 2000's. As for the new German kick. Well, I grew older and further more into my business which demands professionalism. The 330XI was a beaut and I loved it. However, I lost my delivery van at the store, and thus it was traded for the X5 so, again, I can carry products if necessary. I feel my next car will be in addition to the X5. Current candidates are the Cayman S and the Z4 M-coupe. However, who knows if I find something before then. I've also owned 2 MK1 MR2s that were to be project cars. Neither turned out to be worth while once dug in and were sold  . I'm sure I'll find something to tinker with though. As for the bikes. Those were fun. The latest - 06 600RR - was straight amazing. I however think my next bike might be Ducati's 848 just do to the love I felt during my time at the dealership. Though, as cheap as the 1000RR can be had, it makes me reconsider. But if you're looking for a well-performing roadster, go for a Miata. Opt for the LSD and throw some good springs on there and you will have a car that drives MILES better than the above and will also be tons upon tons more fun, even in stock form.
