Recently I have been really feeling the new Dethklok album and a band called Hibria. The new Dream Theater album is amazing and there is never a bad time for Jeff Loomis's solo project "Zero Order Phase".
But enough about me, I want to know what some of the things you guys are into? I love hip hop and am always looking for new ideas for both MC based and Guitar based music. -------------------- Brand new 6gc owner! (sort of 2011)

Mostly into trance nowadays...but I also like rock, alternative, nu metal (Linkin Park), hip hop, most rap, etc. My taste varies from DJ Tiësto to Coldplay to Blink 182 to DJ Encore to (some) Elton John to Fat Joe to Fragma to Kanye West to Markus Schulz...on and on.

I was never into the whole screaming/singing thing, but I can understand why you like it. I think you left Pantera off your list , thats a bloody no no -------------------- Brand new 6gc owner! I'm pretty much into Jorn Lande Spirit Black these days. Also Shakra with Everest and Gotthard Need to Believe.
I'm also a big fan of "True" Metal, bands like Kamelot, Helloween, Masterplan, SYL/Devin Townsend, Nocturnal Rites things like that and of course, the greatest heavy metal band on earth; Maiden!! (which is my favourite band btw) When it comes to classic rock it's more BÖC, Rush, Saga, Cheap Trick with a dash of Genesis once in a while. Maiden is great man, I saw them in LA recently and they were just as explosive as I assume they were 20 years ago (I wasn't concious of music back then.) Have you ever heard of Hibria? Its kinda like old school Maiden with modern tones and modern riffs... its kind of hard to explain but the singer is just like... wow. Amazing. I think you would really enjoy them. -------------------- Brand new 6gc owner! (sort of 2011)

Never heard of them but Tiger Punch sounds great!! My first impressions is a kind of Dragonforce without the keybord and with more "rage", sounds good to me! -------------------- |

Ah man I love to listen to Tiger Punch, its so amazing lol.
Personally I don't hear Dragonforce in them, but thats mostly because I really dislike them and associating the two would make me feel terrible lol. -------------------- Brand new 6gc owner! (sort of 2011)

WHICH DREAM THEATER ALBUM? Last one I had from them was Systematic Chaos. Did they put out a new one?
I jam out everything. Everything from Trace Adkins to Metallica to Mozart to James Brown to Atmosphere to Blue Man Group to whatever else you can imagine. I've even been known to unexpectedly start rockin out on the bus to kelly clarkson in front of everybody. Lol whatever's clever to me mang. But for real tho, which Dream Theater? |

Hahaha Kelly Clarkson. That would be one of the funniest things I've ever seen if I saw some guy really "get into it" on a bus. But the new dream theater album is called "Black Clouds and Silver Linings" which in my opinion is WAY better then Systematic Chaos. -------------------- Brand new 6gc owner! (sort of 2011)
