Thought some of you may be interested in these since they are currently on sale. http://www.edesignaudio.com/product_info.p...;products_id=33

Anyways, i could use some of your thoughts...

These speakers can be ran infinite baffle, but i assume it will sound better in an enclosure, i would like to place these in my rear quarter panel.

My options that i can think of are build one from wood and find a way to mount it, or use the stock mounting panel and make a fiberglass enclosure off of it.
That being said i have not decided which i will attempt, but i do not have any figerglass experience.

If any experienced fiberglasses would have the time to explain the process to me i would appreciate it.

I have figured out that i would need fleece, fiberglass chop mat, resin, and hardener, as well as some form of bracing on the inside.
I have not figured out how to pick the mat, there seems to be different types of that.
Does anyone know of a website or links to what i would need as far as resin hardened and mats go?
How do you transition from fiberglass to wood or plasic?

Im sure i will have more questions, i appreciate any help i can get

ED makes some good stuff... their edead is terrible though

fiberglassing isn't too tough at all... just google it and all kinds of videos will pop up

you mix the resin and hardener and apply it to the mat... just like painting it on (use a push/dab technique though)... and it goes right on plastic and metal and wood just fine

think of fibreglassing as just a way of hardening a cloth... so you have to build a frame for the cloth and however it looks before you apply the resin is what the product will look like

its confusing to explain... hope that helps
