has anyone done hid fog lights on there car yet? i want to know how did u make the water proof cover fit back on?

bloodMoney did it. I've forgotten the details but I think he cut a hole and sealed it with silicone after the bulbs were in place. I'm sure he'll chime in with more details later. P

i was thinking of drilling out the old wires cutting the hid connect (bulb side) and solder the wires to a connector. so if the hid did go out you can still get the replacment only..

That would work just fine, it's what I usually do when installing HIDs in the fogs.
