Hi guys once again small think that i can't sort bleed the power steering last night everything seemed fine checked it this morning and when turning pump makes a kinda whinning noise. Pop the hood and removed the cap from the res, let the engine just tick over and air bubble city in the res. any Thoughts.

Oh yeah don't see any leaks on the pipes.

You need to make sure that the reservior is full....start the car and turn the steering wheel lock to lock once or twice then shut off the car... let it sit for a bout 5 minutes....then repeat until the whining is gone.....this will allow the air in the lines to come out....if you have any other questions feel free to ask!

thanks was bleeding it while on the standa so shall try this re doing all the timing this week end to try this

Yeah Got to HATE THE BUBBLES only cause problems

Update

Bleeding while on the ground made all the difference thanks again will do it again just to make sure. Next is a complete re time as she is off.

Power steering is now as sweet as could be. Thank god no new pump needed. Thanks to all and scarcustoms work like a dream.
